Printing Microsoft Word documents via the fax
|
Owning a fax machine has now become
obsolete if you are hooked-up to the
Internet and already own a printer. This
neat Internet service makes faxing as
easy as sending your pages via e-mail
in the same format as Microsoft Word
would get it to print out. In fact, you
will have to save the pages to be faxed
in Microsoft's Word document format to
send as an attachment much like you do
already with your e-mail. No
long-distance charges to the States or
to Canada will be called up. Only you
will specifically have to rely on having
Microsoft Word 98 for now.

Ughh selling point?!!!
The costs in saving range from the price
of long-distance faxing to the States to
the small savings in paper that are not
required anymore. You will still have to
pay for the time necessary to be on the
Internet for sending the fax although
the time to log on and off from the
service will take much longer than in
sending the documents with a simple
click as you do when you send e-mail.
And sending the documents as an attach-
ment means that you do not have to be
on-line to have written out the pages
beforehand.
